Thank you for your interest in applying for admission to Saint Joseph School. 

If you are interested in enrolling for the current school year, we often are able to accommodate new students, as space allows. Please submit an “Admission Inquiry” via the link in the menu-bar at left.

If you are interested in enrolling in the next school year, our typical timeline is as follows:
December - Open House
January - Re-registration for Current Students
February - Registration for New Students

K-8 Enrollment

For the current school, we have open enrollment, depending on availability. For the next school year, enrollment opens in February after the re-registration of current students.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by August 1st.
Grades 1-8 new transfer students may tour SJS and meet the Principal and teachers. A current copy of the child’s report card must be reviewed by the Principal prior to acceptance. 

Little Friends of St. Joseph: Pre-K and Jr. K

There are two options: 5 Full Days or 3 Full Days (Tu, W, Th).
Pre-K students must be 3 years old by August 1st. Jr. K students must by 4 years old by August 1st. Students must be fully potty trained and independent. 

School Hours: 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Morning care is available through Kids Club from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. From 7:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. students arrive, and homeroom begins at 7:45 a.m. Dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. Early dismissal days conclude at noon for all students. All students enjoy daily recess.

St. Joseph Kids' Club LLC

St. Joseph Kids' Club LLC provides extended day services from 3 pm – 6 pm daily; or starting at noon on early dismissal days. A snack (or lunch), homework, and play time are provided for the students. Supervision is available and students are met and brought to the room by an adult supervisor. We have full time nurse available to all students daily.

Uniforms

Uniforms are required for all students (Pre-K-8) and can be purchased from Just Me Apparel.
Gym uniforms are required for Grades K-8 and can be purchased from Sew Many Logos.

Hot Lunch

Hot lunch is available daily and is provided by Chris' Pancake & Dining. Students also may bring packed lunch. Milk, water, and juice are also available for purchase.

Specialty Classes

All K-8 students participate Art, Music, Computer, and Physical Education.Additionally, our middle school students participate in elective courses that vary year-to-year. Examples of past elective courses include media production and computer science, graphic design, choir, woodworking, cake decorating, and more.

Learning Consultant

We have a full-time learning consultant on staff available to help all of our students.

Instructional Technology

SMART Boards & CLEVERTOUCH Boards are operational in classrooms, cafeteria, the Makerspace Lab, Music Room and Science lab.

Mass Attendance

All of our students attend mass twice per week. We offer two separate grade level masses (one for Pre-K through 3rd and one for 4th-8th). We also offer one All School Mass per week. Our Little Friends students join masses once their teachers decided that they are ready to attend. Special school mass celebrations occur throughout the year, such as their buddy masses, which pair older and younger students.

Sacraments

Students in 2nd Grade prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Students in 7th Grade prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. We will assist you if you or your child needs or wants to receive the Sacrament of Baptism.

Home & School Association

All parents are automatically members of HSA upon registering for school. Parental support and volunteerism strengthens the school community and builds morale and spirit among the entire school community. Welcome!
